Anniversary Trip to BRUNEI

For our 1st anniversary, we decided to take a short trip to BRUNEI, which famous for the astounding wealth of its Sultan and its tax-free, subsidized society.Since this is our first trip with sweet lil' thin, Hezryn Amyra [tak bawak maid sekali], so macam terkelam kabut sikit especially time nak snap photo. That's why tak banyak sangat photo untuk trip kali ni.But overall this trip was quite fun..Dan seperti biasa, thanks to my beloved hubby for this gift. Happy First Anniversary..Love you so very much..

Among the places we visited in BRUNEI..
1) Omar Ali Saifuddin Mosque - the most impressive modern mosques in the East.
2) Kampung Ayer - centuries-old collection of 28 water villages built on stilts in the Brunei River.Ngeri tengok cara diaorg bawak bot..rasanya mau tercabut tudung makcik2 kalau tak pegang kepala..
3) Hassanal Bolkiah National Stadium - tak masuk pun, amik gambar dari luar jer
4) Jerudong - well known for the Playground, a massive new amusement park with a huge range of rides..masa kitaorg sampai, jerudong park was closed for maintenance purposes.agak frust di situ

Then, we try Nasi Katok, one of the famous food in Brunei. Ada apa dengan Nasi Katok ni? The food itself is not unique, it is just rice with a hot spicy sambal (gravy), a small piece of chicken or beef and a small piece of fried egg wrapped in a paper wrapper.

"Do try the local Nasi Katok. 'Katok' is basically the same word as 'kotak', so Nasi Kotak in Malay means Rice Box. It's a simple combination of rice and curried beef or chicken, often spicy enough to whet your appetite. It's relatively inexpensive when compared to other foodstuff that you can buy, including local food such as Chicken rice."
